Thailand Tasar Nationals

Hello all,

This is a preliminary note to try and rev everyone up and get all 8 Tasars on the race course. We are trying to arrange a weekend regatta (tentatively 25th and 26th June) to hold the inaugural Thailand Tasar Nationals hosted by the Ao Chalong Yacht Club in association with the Phuket Yacht Club. Excellent prizes, T-shirts, etc etc.

The event will be sponsored and run in Chalong bay over the two days and we’d expect to run 7-8 races on the weekend. There may be opportunities to charter boats or to crew for someone else. This event hopes to raise the profile of the class here so we encourage everyone with a boat to enter. If necessary, we’ll find crew!

Preliminary entry fee will be about 2,000 THB to cover costs of start boat, T-shirts, dinners etc
